Most players eventually gather in Holy Village and engage in one-on-one fights. Based on my experience during this period after playing for about a month, I have come to the following conclusion.
Currently, almost everyone relies on cults for combat. With the changes to Holy Village, where one-on-one battles now activate instantly, unlike before, when having an alt on the same square prevented immediate activation, players simply wait to see who they will fight and repeatedly use resets. This cycle quickly becomes repetitive and makes PvP feel stale and unengaging.
I would like to suggest removing the one-on-one locations altogether and removing the one-on-one button from the PvP sub. Instead, bringing back a single dedicated Arena for players who want to fight one-on-one could help balance PvP gameplay. This would make small group skirmishes more relevant again, rather than having players idle while waiting for Siege timings, which do not happen every day. This change would also make traps and magnets relevant again.
The game is meant to be played with friends rather than focusing on solo one-on-one fights in a single area.
Me, Chifir, and others feel the same way about the current state of PvP.
